Weather: School Closure Provision
PLEASE NOTE: Mossley Hollins will remain open for staff and students wherever possible so that no learning time is missed.
If closure is unavoidable we will do everything we can to inform parents as soon as possible using the following methods of communication:

- Local radio broadcasts – Hits Radio and Tameside Radio
Absence due to bad weather
If your child is absent from school, you should phone each day before 8.30am. The number to ring is 01457 832491 selecting the option to ‘report your child absent’, where your call will be answered by a member of our Attendance Team. On returning to school, we will require a written note and this should be given to the member of staff on Student Reception.
Travelling home in bad weather
If the school needs to send students home before the normal school finishing time, parents/carers will be notified using the above methods of communication.
